Can I come alone?
YES! You could and you should. Most people will and you will find new friends.
How can I get to Marrakech?
The trip starts and ends in Marrakech, so you will arrange your own transport there. Of course you can fly to Marrakech. There is a shuttle bus that takes you to the city center or you can get a taxi. If you happen to have a bit more time for travelling, you could for example take the ferry from the South of Spain to the North of Morocco. It’s what I did and it was really fun:). There’s quite some options for trains and busses around the country. If you want some intel about travelling to or around Morocco, please send me a message. I’ll gladly help out.
How is the climate in the Todgha Gorge?
Lovely! Gentle desert climate. Daytime is usually sunny and 15-21 degrees. It cools down in the night to 0-10 degrees. There’s hardly any rain.
Who will come on the trip?
There is space for 6-12 travelers. Additionally, there will be two trip leaders including me, a yoga teacher and a climbing guide during the day.
What should I bring?
Sunscreen! Your personal climbing gear (climbing shoes, harness, belay device, lifeline). Headlamp. Clothing that works well in heat and protects you from the sun. As well as a sweater and hat for the nights. You can always ask for a more detailed list or advice.
What other activities are there to do?
You can go on lots of beautiful mountain hikes around the area. You can even do Via Ferrata. There is also a lovely local bakery, places to have coffee and markets.
