How our guarantee fund works
The organisation you book with ensures that your trip is covered by the VZR Garant guarantee fund. They do this by signing up to VZR Garant and by operating in accordance with the guarantee scheme. This gives you, the traveller, the protection you’re entitled to.
If the organisation is no longer financially able to meet its obligations towards you, any payments you’ve already made will be refunded to you or we’ll do everything we can to ensure that you can still enjoy your trip or that you can return home safely.
Nederlands – VZR Garant Garantieregeling
Om te voldoen aan de wettelijk verplichte garantiestelling maakt Mir Mountain Adventures gebruik van de garantieregeling VZR Garant (www.vzr-garant.nl). U kunt dit controleren via de deelnemerspagina van de website van VZR Garant. Binnen de grenzen van de Garantieregeling (te vinden op de website van VZR Garant) is de garantie van VZR Garant van toepassing. In de Garantieregeling leest u op welk (reis)aanbod de garantie van VZR Garant exact van toepassing is en wat deze garantie inhoudt. In order to meet its statutory obligation to provide a guarantee, Mir Mountain Adventures makes use of the guarantee scheme provided by VZR Garant (www.vzr-garant.nl/en). You can check that this is the case by visiting VZR Garant’s website and verifying that the organisation is listed as a participant. VZR Garant’s guarantee applies within the limits of its Guarantee Scheme (which can be found on VZR Garant’s website). The Guarantee Scheme specifies the exact (travel) offering to which VZR Garant’s guarantee applies and what the guarantee entails.
